Gr8 food and service. Coffee is wonderful

Driving old 66 from STL westward and feel very lucky to have happened on this diner before they closed up for the night. Get any burger on the menu! Delicious meal after a long slog. Service was outstanding and staff was attentive and genuinely kind. Highly recommend!!

Not what it used to be. Still makes a quick meal when passing through.

Great stop on Rt. 66 - chicken fried steak came with 3 sides and the tots with the chicken fried chicken sandwich were the best! Wish I had saved room for pie!

Nice small town Diner. Friendly employees and good food, what more could you want? I will definitely be going back to this diner in the future next time I'm in town.

Hadn't eaten here in a while food not as good as it once was. The staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait for or ask for anything.

This was a great place to eat! Very comfortable with a Mama's kitchen feel to it. They made us feel right at home. The help was friendly and the food was awesome. The portions were good size. We left very satisfied. Will definitely stop back in when we get up that way again.

Long time Chelsea institution. Such great home cooked meals that the place fills up quickly. When the curbside parking is full, locals park in a line down the middle of the street. Common practice in the1930s-40s, but not seen often. Home made pies. Last visit we had fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Both tender and filling. Wide variety of side dishes. There were only two servers on duty, they both worked extremely quickly to keep customers contented.

Real hand breaded homemade chicken fry, wonderful cream gravy, excellent seasoned green beans with bacon, comes with dinner roll, good eating...

This is my go to place when in town. The place has a home feel to it! The service is always friendly and spot on. The food comes quick and has always been just how I have ordered it!

I really love this place! The food is super tasty, the employees are so friendly, professional, and welcoming. The diner's environment is very comfortable. The cost of food is extremely reasonable. The only thing that I would say was a negative was one morning they burnt my hash browns...but things like that happen that one thing didn't change my opinion of the Main Street Diner! I will go to the Main Street Diner anytime!!

Great little home town diner with friendly service and an extensive menu, something for everybody. They serve breakfast all day and if you have room for it fresh homemade fruit and cream pies! They have daily specials as well. Never had a bad meal yet. They do get very busy at breakfast, lunch and dinner time so plan in between times otherwise you'll have to wait.

I love this place. I have only lived in this town for 2 months, but this is one of my favorites already. The bartenders are the biggest reason I love this place. Although I do not drink alcohol, we're usually sort in the bar. Daniel remembers us each time and picks up conversations where we left off. He is a great asset to this place. The food is good. It is just a nice, clean place to go for a night out or just dinner in town. I have not been for breakfast on Sunday, but I hear it is great too.

My wife eats there every week. The food is great the waitresses suck. Wait 20 minutes to come get my drink order. The only reason she goes if there is for the food. They need to hire some better waitresses.

Good, down home food and environment. Friendly, helpful waitresses. Kathy is our favorite. Food is always great.
